Ready, aim, spray with this travel bidet!

I always want to maintain proper hygiene and it’s a must for me to always be clean “down there.” Not all toilets have a bidet though, especially mall toilets. Is there a better option than using a tabo or wet wipes? KAREN

It’s true that most public toilets do not have a bidet—the toilet fixture which allows you to wash the genital area. Keeping clean “down there” is more hygienic and helps prevent irritation, itching, and UTI, too.

I attended a bazaar recently and came across the SaniCare Portable Bidet. I had never seen anything like it and found it quite interesting! It comes in two kinds: a manual or automatic battery-operated type. Both are compact and each comes with its own carrying case, making it portable enough to fit in your bag. It’s easy to use, too — you simply fill the reservoir with clean water and extend the nozzle until it’s locked in place to avoid leakage, then invert the gadget and squeeze the reservoir to release water. You can control the water pressure by how much you squeeze. It’s easy to use even for kids! What I like most is that this is a more earth-friendly option because it encourages less consumption of wet wipes or toilet paper.

It’s compact enough to carry every day in your bag, but also perfect for traveling or road trips. Toilet paper and wipes can be abrasive and may even contain bleach or chemicals that can cause irritation. Water really cleans the best. It’s great even for kids and babies’ diaper changes, and even for the elderly and disabled individuals with limited mobility.
