DZMM holds Kapamilya Day

DZMM 630, ABS-CBN’s flagship AM radio station, celebrates its 30th anniversar­y with an event that captures its dedication to be in the service of the Filipino.

Everyone is invited to join in DZMM’s Grand Kapamilya Day event to be held at San Andres Sports Complex in Malate, Manila today, starting at 7 a.m., where hundreds of people can avail of free medical and legal consultati­ons, learn from lectures on business and farming, and enjoy fun activities with DZMM’s roster of anchors and Radyo Patrol reporters.

The Grand Kapamilya Day brings together DZMM’s different programs as well as other ABS-CBN Current Affairs programs to deliver to the people a rich serving of entertainm­ent, informatio­n, inspiratio­n, public service and other surprises. Activities include a Zumba workout with the DZMM Traffic Angels, a talk on how to start a business with Dr. Carl Balita of Radyo

Negosyo, a discussion on consumer rights with Usec. Vic Dimagiba of Konsyumer Atbp, an emergency-preparedne­ss training with Atom Araullo of Red

Alert, a feature on organic farming with Louie Tabing of Sa Kabukiran, as well as aura reading with Stargazer and a beauty seg- ment with Cory Quirino. Meanwhile, programs like Failon Ngayon, My Puhunan, Salamat Dok, Kabayan, Dos Por Dos and Usapang De Campanilla will raffle off prizes. Those who will troop to the Grand Kapamilya Day can also avail of the DZMM TLC Medical Mission, which is giving free pap-smear tests care of Dra. Bles Salvador, anchor of Dra. Bles @ Ur Serbis, free ECG and minor surgery from Salamat Dok and free diamond peel and prostate test courtesy of Magandang

The event is part of the station’s year-long 30th anniversar­y celebratio­n which was preceded by the launch of the DZMM 30th anniversar­y logo, a new Station ID featuring Piolo Pascual and a special segment called Kwento ng Tatlong Dekada that reminisces on some of DZMM’s most unforgetta­ble reports.
