PATTS acquires modern training lab
PATTS College of Aeronautics, known for offering the most comprehensive education in the aerospace industry, recently embarked on a strategic partnership with HEATCON Composites Inc., to set up the most sophisticated composites training laboratory inside the college campus.
The laboratory is the only one of its class in the country and is the same as those found in aircraft repair facilities throughout Asia.
PATTS students will now have the opportunity and advantage of training in a modern composites laboratory and be exposed to real world, real job scenarios.
As aviation maintenance, engineering, job planning and materials job market require more specialized skills, PATTS graduates will have a distinct advantage over those from other aeronautical schools.
Heatcon, which is based in Seattle, Washington and manufactures composite repair equipment, is the world leader in composite repair solutions, and is a top level supplier of repair materials and technical services, including composites structure repair training.
New aircraft operated by various worldwide airlines are all composite structure intensive, and the need for qualified composite technicians has grown.
This new partnership between PATTS College of Aeronautics and Heatcon is a timely and welcome development which further strengthens the advantage of PATTS’ graduates over those from other aeronautical schools.
