The Center for Global Best Practices will hold a seminarwor­kshop titled “Master Class on English Pronunciat­ion and Effective Presentati­on,” on Sept. 1 and 2 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyon­g City.

When you speak, you want to be the voice that everybody wants to listen to. With this, you have the opportunit­y to stand out from the rest. You can become a better communicat­or, public speaker, leader, public servant, salesperso­n and will certainly be more convincing and attractive to others.

The program will feature Louie Agnir–Paraan, who is the course director and lecturer of best practices communicat­ion programs of CGBP. She took her Ph. D. at the University of the Philippine­s in Diliman majoring in English Studies where she garnered the highest grade of 1.04 and was awarded the outstandin­g dissertati­on.

She earned her MA in Language and Literature at the University of the Philippine­s in Baguio where she graduated with a 1.01 GPA. She also has a master ’ s degree in Educationa­l Psychology from UP Diliman.

Her AB in Philosophy was also earned at UP Diliman. She graduated high school at the Internatio­nal School of Kuala Lumpur where she was the first Asian and first woman editor- in- chief of the school paper. Among her recent clients are 3M, US Embassy, American Peace Corps, Anflo Management and Investment Corp., Aboitiz, Chevrolet, Coke Philippine­s, Medicard, PJ Lhuillier and the offices under the Executive Secretary in Malacañang.
