Search on for ‘8 Bravo Empowered Women’

-

Zonta Club of Makati & Environs, in partnership with Security Bank Corp., has opened nominations for the ‘8 Bravo Empowered Women’ for 2017.

The search is conducted every two years where winners are chosen after a stringent process of nominations coming from all over the country.

The ‘8 Bravo Empowered Women Awards’ named the first set of winners in 2015, recognizing Filipinas who demonstrated an unwavering commitment to leadership and service, enabling themselves and others toward economic and social progress. Security Bank and Zonta Club of Makati & Environs have partnered for this project because of their shared advocacy to empower women who help build a better society through their individual achievements and personal advocacies.

The organizers hope to surpass the numerous nominations received during the year-long search from various fields in the maiden run of the awards program last year.

A distinguished board of judges selects eight outstanding women — unsung heroes who have never received any previous awards or recognition on the national level. The awardees will be interviewed and judged based on criteria that will consider their achievements and how they help create a positive social impact on their community and the country.

Nomination forms are available at Security Bank branches nationwide or may be downloaded from www.securitybank.com.
