Allysian Sciences founders announce Manila operations
It was another fun evening when Jojie Dingcong organized a gathering of influencers in the arts and entertainment industry to hear from Apolo Ohno, eight- time Olympic medalist and the most decorated American winter Olympian in history, along with his co- founder Rod Jao about their latest venture, Allysian Sciences. Among the guests were Maurice Arcache, Tessa PrietoValdes, Rajo Laurel, Pops Fernandez, Marriane Po, Ina Ayala, Lizette Cojuangco, Mark Wilson, Louie Cruz, PJ Pascual, Franco Laurel, Bambina Olivares and Anton Barreto.
The company, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, is bringing awareness to the brain health industry through natural products designed to help with memory, stress relief, mood, alertness and performance, among other benefits. These products are combined with a technology- driven mobile platform that allows users to access scientifically validated brain training games and other e- learning modules. Allysian’s goal is to help everyone improve all aspects of life starting with the most important part of the human body — the mind. It can improve cognition and a lot of supposedly anti- Alzheimer’s preventive benefits.
Carlo Calma’s VASK prepared a Filipino food menu called Binondo, Lutong Bahay: Tiradito (yellow fin tuna — kinilaw, pickle arosep), 5.6 ( oyster Bicol express, rabanos, Ilocos vinegar), Bauhina ( macarel — sour broth), Sour Ribs ( wagyu, soyamansi, onions, garlic caein), Adlai ( uni, bagoong, Guyana chestnuts), Pandan Éclair ( sweet mango, pandan mousse, rice crisp, latik ice cream),
Pintos ( corn tamales, corn mousse, grilled corn, burnt milk ice cream).
The dinner gathering came ahead of Allysian’s official big launch sometime this year.
