Julie Anne inks exclusive contract with GMA

Julie Anne San Jose has renewed her ties with the Kapuso Network.

Present in the contract signing were GMA chairman and CEO lawyer Felipe Gozon, president and COO Gilberto Duavit Jr., EVP and CFO Felipe Yalong, SVP for Entertainm­ent TV Lilybeth Rasonable, consultant for Entertainm­ent TV Marivin Arayata, senior AVP for Alternativ­e Production­s Gigi Lara and senior program manager Charles Koo.

During the contract signing, Gozon was all praises for Julie Anne and is pleased that she remains to be a loyal Kapuso. “We are very thankful because Julie Anne is a homegrown talent. But I’d also like to say she’s not just an excellent singer but she’s also a versatile actress. She can do comedy and drama.”

On the other hand, Duavit shared that Julie Anne is one of the most promising performers today and the viewers could look forward to seeing her do more quality programs. “It seemed only yesterday when she joined Pop Star Kids, and now she truly excels in her craft. Aside from being satisfied, we are also thankful that she continues to work hard.”

For her upcoming projects, Rasonable claimed that Julie Anne will be busy with a hefty line-up this coming year. “We are very thankful that she chose to stay with us. Now that she’s busy in the concert scene, we also want to give her drama projects because as what Atty. Gozon had said, we believe that she is a versatile actress. We are also working on projects that will focus on her singing and hosting career, and we look forward to the announceme­nt once everything is polished.”
