Cham, Magsakay top ABC monthly

Jerry Canuday Cham of Boysen Paints turned in a six-game series of 1217 to capture the Group 1 crown while Violy Magsakay of Boysen Paints took the Group 2 plum with a 1215 in the Architects Bowling Club’s Monthly Championsh­ips at the E-Lanes Center in San Juan last week.

Buddy Segui of Sogo Internatio­nal shot a 1213, Toto Abear of Emerald Pipes scored a 1203, Ronnie Javier of Steeltech Roofing carded a 1186 and Hermie Prudente of Lightcord Enterprise­s made a 1174 to finish second, third, fourth and fifth, respective­ly in Group 1.

Jho Madrinal of Romari Constructi­on came up with a 1206, Elvie Vidal of E.S Vidal Builders and Ivan Dy of Metro Cathay Trading scored similar 1160s and Russell Mapanoo of Miraga Trade shot a 1149 for second, third, fourth and fifth, respective­ly, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, ABC president Eugene Panaguiton is inviting all architects, suppliers, contractor­s and ABC members to participat­e in the weekly tournament, which resumes at 7:30 tonight with the Hi -Lo Event Single Event, also at E-Lanes.
