Cham, Magsakay top ABC monthly

Jerry Canuday Cham of Boysen Paints turned in a six-game series of 1217 to capture the Group 1 crown while Violy Magsakay of Boysen Paints took the Group 2 plum with a 1215 in the Architects Bowling Club’s Monthly Championships at the E-Lanes Center in San Juan last week.

Buddy Segui of Sogo International shot a 1213, Toto Abear of Emerald Pipes scored a 1203, Ronnie Javier of Steeltech Roofing carded a 1186 and Hermie Prudente of Lightcord Enterprises made a 1174 to finish second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively in Group 1.

Jho Madrinal of Romari Construction came up with a 1206, Elvie Vidal of E.S Vidal Builders and Ivan Dy of Metro Cathay Trading scored similar 1160s and Russell Mapanoo of Miraga Trade shot a 1149 for second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, ABC president Eugene Panaguiton is inviting all architects, suppliers, contractors and ABC members to participate in the weekly tournament, which resumes at 7:30 tonight with the Hi -Lo Event Single Event, also at E-Lanes.
