Aquino admin execs get ‘moderate to good’ satisfactory ratings
Officials of the Aquino administration received “moderate to good” final net satisfaction ratings, according to the second quarter survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS).
The poll was conducted from June 24 to 27 – days before the inauguration of President Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo. It used face-to-face interviews of 1,200 respondents nationwide.
Former vice president Jejomar Binay had a final satisfaction rating of moderate +22, a new “personal record-low.”
His latest rating was three points below his April score and two points lower than his previous personal record low last December.
Former Senate president Franklin Drilon obtained a net satisfaction rating of good +36, down two points from his +38 last April.
Former speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. garnered a moderate +18 rating, three points higher than April’s +15. SWS said this was the highest satisfaction rating received by Belmonte since the moderate +18 in September 2013.
Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno’s rating remained moderate at +17, although it increased by four points from +13 in April.
Top institutions obtained “good to very good” satisfaction rating in the final month of the Aquino administration.
The Senate’s net satisfaction rating improved from good to very good, or from +41 in April to +52 in June.
“This is the highest since the very good +54 in June 2013,” the SWS noted.
The House of Representatives got a net satisfaction rating of +42 from +29 in the first quarter.
SWS said this is the highest score received by the House since its good +42 in August 2012.
The Supreme Court’s net satisfaction rating remained good, despite an eight-point increase, from +36 in April to +44 in June.
Its latest satisfaction rating surpassed its previous recordhigh of good +41 in September 2013 and December 2000, the SWS said.
