Cham captures ABC singles crown

Jerry Canuday Cham of Boysen Paints carded a 1039 to pocket the crown in the Architects Bowling Club Singles Event Championship at E-Lanes in Ortigas Ave., San Juan last week.

Nonoy de Jesus of Philflex scored 1038 while Jho Madrinal of Romari Construction turned in a 1003 to finish second and third, respectively.

Meanwhile, Boysen Paints pooled a 2110 in a three-game series to beat four others for the ABC Cebu championship at SM Bowling Center recently.

Sea Olympus placed second with a 1978 while Davies Paints assembled a 1955 for third in the event which also drew the Cebu Bionic Builders Supply and Hammer Luck Hardware teams.

Nolan Arnoco made a 493 in the three-game series to clinch the bowler of the year honors.
