Sinungaling Mong Puso ends tonight
GMA Network’s TV adaptation of the 1992 blockbuster movie, Sinungaling Mong Puso is now on its final week. The series took the audience through the challenging journey of choosing between the love that is right or the love that is real.
Headlined by Rhian Ramos, Rafael Rosell and Kiko Estrada, viewers were glued to their TV screens as they followed the intertwined lives of Clara, Roman and Jason.
Rhian is Clara, a woman who was abused by her husband but now is willing to fight back. She shared how playing the role of Clara exposed her into the reality some women undergo.
“The show is an eye-opener because I was able to visit those battered married women. What they taught me is that makakaalis ka rin sa situation
na ’yun. And for me, I think, para maiwasan ang ganun, know your partner first before marrying him,” the actress said.
Rafael breathes life into the character of Roman, the abusive husband of Clara. According to him, he was surprised by how the viewers accepted his role. “Actually, I was shocked that whenever nasa labas ako or sa social media accounts ko, people are calling me now as Roman and naiinis sila sa akin. But at the same time, pinupuri
nila ako na I was good daw. That I was effective in my role. I’m happy because I didn’t expect that, really. And with that, salamat talaga sa lahat ng sumuporta,” Rafael shared.
Kiko depicts Jason, the young yet mature man who falls in love and is willing to save Clara from the situation she is in. For him, he will always be grateful for the help his co-actors gave him because he never thought that portraying the role of Jason will bring out so much in him as an actor.
“Actually, hindi ko inaasahan ito na people will see my growth as an actor. Wala naman akong ibang pasasalamatan dito kung hindi yung mga co-actors ko and si direk (Ricky Davao). If not for them, with their assistance tuwing taping, hindi ako makakagawa ng ganun ka-ayos na mga eksena.”
And as the series enters its finale, will Clara (Rhian) and Jason (Kiko) be finally free from Roman’s (Rafael) manipulation and evil plans? Will she still be able to live a normal life and be with the man she truly loves?
Also in the cast are Michael de Mesa, Glydel Mercado, Cheska Diaz, Sherilyn Reyes, Jazz Ocampo, Gee Canlas, JC Tiuseco and Gab de Leon.
Sinungaling Mong Puso airs after Oh, My Mama! on GMA Afternoon Prime.
