As a professor for the last 23 rewarding years, he has realized one important value for changing the lives of his students – that is – the passion for teaching. As a professor in Marketing, he has embraced the love of learning -- certainly not for the money!
Dr. Roberto M. Arguelles is a Full Professor at Saint Louis University, the “Light of the North.” He holds a doctorate degree in Philosophy in Management from the University of the Cordilleras, magna cum laude. He completed the Applied Research in Socio-Economic Sciences at the University of Ghent, and Small Enterprise Development Program at the Catholic University of Leuven, in Belgium and was a visiting professor at the Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
With his passion in research, he has captured the community of scholars. He is an international peer reviewer of journals and published researches in local and international journals. He has also presented research papers in Belgium, Thailand, India, Indonesia and the Philippines. He is a trainor on Research, Curriculum Development, and Management Development Programs in the Philippines and abroad and co-authored books on management, which include Principles of Management and
Organization, and Entrepreneurship Principles and Practices: A Modular Approach.
His dedication in teaching and practice allowed him to share his marketing expertise with the Association of Marketing Educators since 1999. He is now the National President of the Association of Marketing Educators, Philippines. He has received the following titles and awards: Certified Professional Marketing Educator ( CPME), Diplomate in Business Education ( DBE), Registered Business Educator (RBE), Accredited Marketing Educator (AMEd), among others.
With one heart and one soul, his Louisian journey to academic excellence and leadership with a missionary heart continues.
