Novellino unveils last commissioned work by Ed Castrillo

Novellino Wines unveiled “The Great Vine,” the last commissioned work by the late sculptor Eduardo “Ed” Castrillo, which was installed recently at the Novellino Winery at Carmelray Industrial Park in Canlubang, Laguna.

“The Great Vine” is an abstract expressionist rendition of a grape vine after having emerged from the fertile ground.

“Novellino is a patron of the arts. When we met the late Ed Castrillo, we found a lot of common themes between the work he does and the wine we produce. Ed was a passionate artist. Novellino is a wine formulated to suit the Filipino taste,” said Vincent Quimbo, founder of Bel Mondo Italia Corp., maker of Novellino Wines.
