Megaworld Corp., the Andrew Tan- led property company, is expanding its residential tower in its sprawling Iloilo Business Park in Iloilo City.

Specifically, Megaworld is expanding its Saint Honore residential tower with the addition of a South Wing with sales value projected at P1.35 billion.

The expansion comes just a few months after it launched the North Wing in late August last year.

With the expansion, Megaworld is putting an additional 155 units to the growing residential market in Iloilo, with sales value projected at P1.35 billion.

Jennifer Palmares- Fong, vice president for sales and marketing of the Iloilo Business Park, said the new wing would have shared amenities with the North Wing on the tower’s lifestyle amenity deck. These amenities include a swimming pool and pool lounge, kiddie pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center, function rooms and a landscaped atrium.

“We are very happy with how the Ilonggo market has received our fourth residential project in Iloilo Business Park. To date, the North Wing of Saint Honore is now 85-percent sold. That is why we need to advance the launch of the South Wing as we continue to receive more inquiries about this project,” Fong said.

Units in Saint Honore range from studio, one- bedroom and two- bedroom with select units having their own balconies.

Saint Honore is a 10- story condominium tower composed of two residential wings inspired by the classic architectural designs of the shophouses, boutiques, museums and retail rows of the Rue Saint- Honore, a historical street in downtown Paris.

The tower will be completed in 2021.

Megaworld has been investing heavily in the Visayas, both for the business and residential sectors given the booming economy in the Visayas region.

Aside from the Iloilo Business Park, Megaworld has several other provincial townships nationwide. These include the 30-hectare Mactan Newtown in Cebu; the 173-hectare Sta. Barbara Heights in Iloilo; the 150-hectare Boracay Newcoast in Boracay Island; the 1,200- hectare Twin Lakes in Tagaytay; the 12.3-hectare ArcoVia City in Pasig City; the 561-hectare Southwoods City in the boundaries of Cavite and Laguna; the 11-hectare Davao Park District in Lanang, Davao City; the 350-hectare Suntrust Ecotown and 140-hectare Maple Grove both in Cavite; the 34-hectare Upper East and 50-hectare Northill Gateway both in Negros Occidental and the 35.6- hectare Capital Town Pampanga.
