Mastermind’s #TurnMeOnChallengeDance goes viral

-

There’s no stopping Mastermind. After winning fourth runner-up in Pilipinas Got Talent

(PGT), it has been lording it over in the Net with smash hit dance videos. The group’s latest called

#TurnMeOnChallenge reached over a million views on Facebook and is now going viral. Its PGT performance has close to six million views.

Mastermind members all hail from Eastern Samar. They have been dancing as kids and came to prominence after their stint in PGT.

The members — Adam Noel Bagares, Jester Brozas, Rey Baylon, DJ Odicta, Pao Gonzales, Ericson Apelado, Bryan Abunda, Raymund Aragon and David Inere — have been performing with dance groups all over their province.

“We’re setting the trend in dance moves,” says Pao, the group’s leader. “Many groups are imitating our style. And we like it.” For Mastermind, dancing in

PGT and creating viral dance videos are dreams come true. “It’s nice to know that what we used to dream of has become a reality,” they chorus.

The little success that they have has inspired Mastermind to dream big and aspire for more.

“We want to share the stage with Billy Crawford. We also want to represent the Philippines in international dance competitions,” says Brian.

Mastermind also dreams of dancing with its international idols Chris Brown and Usher. The members want to follow in the footsteps of the Manouevers, Streetboys, UMD (Universal Motion Dancers) and legendary international group Kinjaz.

“We will continue to create new dance moves and challenge ourselves to be better. Dancing is our passion,” adds Pao.
