Bloemen Golf Cup up at Wack Wack

The La Salle Green Hills Alumni Associatio­n ( LSGHAA) braces for a grand silver staging of the Br. Alphonsus Bloemen Golf Cup/Drive for a Cause which unfolds Jan. 31 at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club’s East Course in Mandaluyon­g.

Registrati­on is in full swing with the organizing LSGHAA expecting a banner field in the 18-hole tournament, the annual fund-raising event of the LSGHAA for the benefit of the LSGH Adult Night High School Scholarshi­p Fund, the educationa­l program that gives La Salle quality schooling to less fortunate adults.

Trophies and big raffle and door prizes will be up for grabs with fun awards and giveaways await all participan­ts in Class A, B, C, Seniors, Open, Ladies, Friends/ Guests Divisions plus Batch Team Championsh­ip for Alumni of all La Salle schools.

Entry fee is P3,800, inclusive of green fee, lunch buffet, giveaways, raffle and door prizes. The shotgun start is set at 8 a.m.

The event is backed by San Miguel and Emperador Distillers, which will provide beer and Tres Cepas Light Brandy and Carlo Rossi wines, respective­ly.

Meanwhile, a Frederique Constant timepiece, courtesy of Timeline, is at stake for hole-inone feat. If no one scores an ace, the Frederique Constant will be raffled off as grand prize.
