Good Life honors joyful traditions in upcoming ‘Flavors of Fortune’ grand food fest

An auspicious celebratio­n filled with colorful traditions and lavish festivitie­s will usher the Year of the Rooster, as one of the leading Asian food brands, Good Life, invites everyone to the Flavors of Fortune: Food Trip Down Chinatown, a grand Chinese New Year festival happening on Jan. 27- 28, at the Robinsons Place Manila Midtown Atrium.

Good Life – Flavors of Fortune centers on sharing joyful moments with family and friends while sharing good food. The celebratio­n is open to everyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine and those who wish to bring in harmony, positive vibes, and prosperity in their lives this 2017.

To commemorat­e this year’s Chinese zodiac, Good Life will be holding the Good Life Chinoy Dish Showdown, a culinary competitio­n highlighti­ng modern Chinese-Filipino dishes. Featured participan­ts are some of Manila’s hotels which include Hotel Kimberly, City Garden Hotel, Lotus Garden Hotel, Eurotel, Bayview Park Hotel, Amelie Hotel and Best Western Hotel that will battle it out in a live cooking exposition to win the prize for the best Chinese dish.

For a richer Chinese New Year experience, enjoy a quick heritage tour via the Chinoy Activity Strip and grab the fun opportunit­y to learn Chinese arts and crafts like calligraph­y, lantern-making, paper- cutting, and more from the featured booths. A horoscope prediction for 2017 and feng shui talk by master Hanz Cua will also be among the highlights of the event.

The celebratio­n will not be complete without generous giftgiving, surprise freebies and raffle prizes that will be given away to lucky guests during the exciting stage games.

To join the activities, simply purchase any Good Life products worth P90 at Robinsons Supermarke­t to avail of the passport to the event. The passport will provide guests access to the delectable food sampling and activity booths in the event area. It also includes a Lucky Dish stub (to vote for their chosen winning Chinoy dish), a raffle stub, and Prosperity Tree stub which entitles them to pick one ang pao that holds exciting prizes such as a premium item or fortune.
