Okada Manila draws 10,000 gamers
Okada Manila, the newest integrated casino resort owned by Japanese gaming mogul Kazuo Okada, has counted at least 10,000 gaming enthusiasts in its casino since it commenced operations in late December.
The company said it has reached 10,000 Reward Circle Members during its first week of operations.
Just recently, it handed over P30 million to its first grand jackpot winner, 19 days since starting its casino operations.
On Jan. 17, a 45-year old newly registered member of Okada Manila Reward Circle won the integrated casino resort’s progressive jackpot prize on her sixth spin at her favorite slot game, Da Fu Da Gui.
Okada Manila chief marketing officer Andy Chang said the casino resort welcomes the early jackpot victory.
“Hitting the grand jackpot and other major prizes this early is such a good start for our casino operations and it signals a promising and bountiful year ahead,” Chang said.
A side from the jackpot winner, Okada Manila saw two more lucky winners who both bagged P1 million each at slot game, Brothers of Fortune, early this month. One of which was an Okada Manila Reward Circle inaugural member.
Chang said the Reward Circle program allows members to earn valuable points for most gaming play and transactions at the casino’s restaurants, clubs, retail shops, spa and hotel.
“They can use any amount of earned points just like cash for whatever rewards they would like resortwide,” Chang said.
Okada Manila is the biggest integrated resort in the booming leisure and gaming industry in the Philippines. It held a preview on Dec. 21 and has been opening in phases. Its grand opening is set next month.
It boasts of being a major landmark in Philippine tourism especially with the addition of its $30 million light and water fountain that rivals two of the most popular fountains in the world.
Okada Manila has gaming floors, which can accommodate up to 500 tables and 3,000 slot machines, a premium shopping promenade and an impressive night club and indoor beach club.
