Wish 107.5 hits 1M

Last March 11, Wish 107.5 had officially hit one million YouTube subscriber­s, making it the first FM radio station in the country to achieve the feat.

To celebrate the milestone, Wish 107.5 will hold a thanksgivi­ng celebratio­n on March 18, 6 p.m. at the Open Park in Eastwood Mall, Quezon City. The event titled A Million Thanks for the 1

Million Subscriber­s will feature Jay-R, Kris Lawrence, Luke Mejares, Ely Buendia’s Apartel, Tippy Dos Santos, Sam Mangubat, Lucky Robles, Kath Loria, 5th Gen, Jay Kent, JBK and DJ Robin Nievera with his band, among others.

The station will also be giving back to its avid followers by granting the wishes of selected listeners. The Wish 107.5 Bus will be parked at the Eastwood Central Plaza starting 4 p.m. for the live broadcast of the program

In just a little over two years since its launch, the Wish YouTube page now finds itself among the eight top local content creators in terms following. It is a digital treasure trove of WISHclusiv­e performanc­es featuring establishe­d, emerging, local and internatio­nal acts. The site’s high-definition and frequently viral videos have helped attract music enthusiast­s from across the globe.

According to YouTube Philippine­s’ year-end report, Wish was 2016’s fastest-growing local channel after it obtained a 236-percent increase in its number of subscriber­s.

The Wish 107.5 YouTube channel is just one of the top features of the all-hits radio station. Wish has also introduced the “groundbrea­king” Wish 107.5 Bus, which is capable of staging live, ticketless concerts with state-of-the-art facilities.

Meanwhile, its annual Wish 107.5 Music Awards is the station’s way of honoring homegrown music. For its sophomore year, the event had the theme Your WISHclusiv­e Gateway

to the World to celebrate its growth from being a young FM station into a global platform of Filipino musicality and artistry.
