“You have honored us with your presence as we celebrate our successes, recognize current achievements and look forward to the best that is yet to come,” Reyes said.

Although Meralco chairman Manny Pangilinan was in Bangkok attending an investors’ conference, he led the toast through a video message that was shown during the event, extending his congratulations to the awardees in the various categories that include local government units, large corporate commercial and corporate industrial companies as well as small- and medium-scale businesses.

The awardees were recognized not only for their leadership and innovation, but also for their ability to utilize energy resources in an efficient manner, in the process contributing to nation building and job creation. The Luminaries include Charlie Rufino, Clarence

Chung and Century Properties’ Joey Antonio (corporate commercial category); Malabon City Mayor LenLen Oreta, Pasay City Mayor Tony Calixto and Imus, Cavite Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi ( local government units category); Bing Viera, Kenna Lao and Len Obias (corporate
