To make the earthquake drill more realistic, 10 mock victims were carried by rescue teams on stretchers following a simulated tremor.

Chief Superintendent Erickson Velasquez, deputy director of the PNP Directorate for Community Relations, said the drill was successful as it showed their readiness should an earthquake hit Metro Manila.

Velasquez urged the public to participate in earthquake drills to be conducted by the government.
