MMDA wants body cameras for enforcers
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is planning to purchase around 500 body cameras to help traffic enforcers deal with erring motorists, an official said on Thursday.
MMDA officer-in-charge Tim Orbos said the cameras would be used by 500 traffic enforcers assigned along EDSA, C-5 Road and Commonwealth Avenue.
The MMDA needs to consult the Metro Manila Council composed of 17 mayors before it can implement the project, Orbos said. –
