Forum on PD treatment strategies slated

The Movement Disorders Society of the Philippines (MDSP) in cooperation with the Gabay A0lalay will hold a lay forum on Treatment Strategies in Parkinson Disease on April 9 at the Cathedral Heights Building Auditorium 1 of the St Luke’s Medical Center.

There will be two sessions with the first beginning at 9 a.m. and the afternoon session at 1 p.m.

Topics for discussion are overview of Parkinson Disease, Stem Cell-Based Therapy in PD, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Biofeedback, Management of Motor Symptoms of PD, Management of Non-Motor Symptoms of PD and Surgical Management of PD.
