Developers back Pag-IBIG’s integrity, good governance drive
Fund recently held its Home Lending Accomplishment Report Forum for the National Capital Region (NCR) in Makati City, where a total of 211 developers recited the Integrity Pledge for Pag-IBIG stakeholders.
They pledged full support and cooperation to PagIBIG’s integrity and good governance campaign, vowing to strengthen trust and confidence in all their transactions with the Fund.
Pag-IBIG Fund officer-incharge Acmad Rizaldy Moti thanked the participants for their commitment and stressed that the pledge is synonymous to the agency’s determination to keep itself graft- and corruption-free in all its transactions and to forestall any questionable deals.
The developers committed to transacting with Pag-IBIG with the highest degree of professionalism and business ethical standards; respect rules and regulations; observe accuracy and truthfulness in preparing documents; require employees to be fair and honest in their dealings; avoid any acts devoid of integrity and transparency; adopt best practices and ethical business policies; and be reliable and trustworthy in all partnership activities with the government.
“This is a continuation of Pag-IBIG’s innovative strategies to wipe out any trace of graft and corruption and to retain people’s trust in the Fund” Moti said.
New Apec Development Corp., a partner-developer which has stayed with PagIBIG for 15 years, commended the agency for living up to its commitment to its partners and shareholders.
“All these years, Pag-IBIG Fund has remained true to its commitment of always ensuring the welfare of the Filipino people. (It) continues to inspire us in its leadership, professionalism, competence, and transparency,” Anna Michelle ChuaCo, the company’s corporate secretary said.
Pag-IBIG Fund OIC for Home Lending Operations Cluster Marilene Acosta in her speech toward the end of the forum, expressed optimism that with the renewed commitment of the housing developers backing it, PagIBIG will reach its targets for 2017.
