6th National Fireworks Festival at Riverbanks Center

Riverbanks Center in Marikina City once again hosts the Philippine National Fireworks Festival now on its 6th year where seasoned pyro-musical geniuses compete for prestige and prize.

All Saturday evenings of April 1, 8 and 22 at 7 p.m. will see the skies of Marikina lit up by an explosion of colors and images synchronized with music, as competitors from all over the country showcase their creativity and talent. After the three-day series of elimination rounds, where previous champions will also be competing each night, the winning groups will then battle it out in the grand finals on April 29 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Amphitheatre. The interpretations from the competitors of this year’s festival plus an exhibition from Polaris Fireworks of the People’s Republic of China will surely be spectacular.

Filipinos have time and again proven that we can beat our peers from anywhere in the world, winning awards here and abroad, including competitions in fireworks festivals. To showcase Filipino ingenuity when it comes to pyrotechnics, they will take center stage here at Riverbanks Center, and give audiences an eyeful of amazing numbers.

Participating pyrotechnic companies to clash head-tohead and give their best shots for glory will be coming from Bigaa, Cabuyao Laguna, Bocaue Bulacan, Calamba Laguna, Binang, Bocaue Bulacan, Novaliches Quezon City, Plaridel Bulacan and Valenzuela City, to as far as the province of Numancia Aklan.

Get the best view of the fireworks display by coming in early both for the elimination rounds and the final night. On the grand finals, ticketed seats are available at P150 only while the elimination rounds will be free of charge. Tickets are now available at the Riverbanks Mall Customer Service Counter. Families will experience Christmas and New Year revelry this early at Riverbanks Center.
