Linda Ley:‘My focus is on my family’s needs above my own.’

-

Linda Ley is a proud homemaker. “I’m retired and have been a homemaker for the past 15 years,” she says. Linda’s choice to focus on family can be attributed to her experience with motherhood. She volunteers, “Over the years, I learned to become more responsible and more selfless. As a mom, my focus is really on my family’s needs above my own.” And though admittedly a strict maternal figure, Linda remains close to her children. They make sure to spend quality time either by spending the whole day together or by traveling. Blessed with a daughter and two sons, Linda advises young moms to “love your family and give motherhood your best and your all. Be a responsible mother at all times!” A super mom in her own right, Linda’s eldest Adrianne shares how much she admires her mom: “I love and admire how she can be two opposite things at the same time: the life of any event and then the quiet, thoughtful friend whom you can confide in; glam, fab and never one to miss out on a shopping spree but down-to-earth and generous; the cool BFF mom whom you can party with and hang out with on weekends, and the strict mother who will watch you like a hawk because she’s protective and wants nothing but the best for her kids.” Adrianne also takes sartorial notes from Linda, whose style is simple and elegant. For casualwear, this mom turns for the comfortable pieces of Esprit; she opts for a blue striped off-shoulder blouse with bow details on sleeves paired with white denim while her daughter wears a navy blue striped short-sleeved shirt under a black bomber jacket, all by Esprit. As for trendy pieces, the mother-daughter pair gets their dose of style du jour from Ishta.
