NCA world derby resumes

Prominent cockfighters and breeders clash today as action in the National Cockers Alliance World Championship Derby heats up at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Leading the field with four points are CJ of Charlie Gayoso/JR, Swing 888 Poultry Supply of Tony Marfori, Coliseo De Manila of Mayor Viceo, Lucky Chances of Rene Medina, and MJ of Marvin Rillo.

With 3.5 points are Yakal 3 Binangonan of Mayor Oseo and Jun Arcilla, and July 21 5-cock Fiesta Derby sa Santiago City of Ed Miranda.

Oscar Akins, Thomas Wilson, and Chris Prater are among the foreign competitors in the annual event.

Meanwhile, the next NCA derby is set on May 23 followed by the NCA Big Event on May 30.
