Tummy massage: Christian Bautista’s secret

- By SERENA ORDOVEZA

Singer, actor, host and model Christian Bautista is quite a busy bee these days. After all, he is one of the most sought after artists in both the local and international scenes today. And a quick glance at his loaded schedule paints a picture of impressive productivity.

In the coming months, Christian is set to come out in My Love from the Stars,a Tagalized Koreanovela remake, as well as SoundTrip for E! Soon, he will also be releasing his highly-anticipated single from his newest album. “There’s still a bit of pop, RnB, and pop rock. Of course, I still have my staple of ballads, but you’ll hear an ever so slightly updated sound.”

After all of his hard work, Christian plans to reward himself with some good ol’ me-time. This summer, Christian is revving up for his vacation to La Union, hoping to hit the waves and bask under the summer sun. “I recently tried my hand in surfing, and I’m loving it! I’m still a beginner, but I’m looking forward to getting more time on the waves,” shares the avid wakeboarder.

In addition to the scheduled trip up north, Christian is also considering a quick escape to Tagaytay, Boracay, Palawan and even Japan. “Taking breaks really help in recharging yourself. With my kind of lifestyle, vacation time is really a luxury, so I make the most of it,” he shares.

Considering how rigorous his work schedule can be, Christian places extreme importance on staying fit and energized. On or off set, he follows a healthy lifestyle by exercising and eating well. “You have to give your body some structure and routine. I follow a healthy diet, a clean lifestyle, and I do exercises that I love. I sometimes do stray and fall off the ‘wagon’, but when I do, I immediately head to BlueWater Day Spa (BWDS) to jumpstart my health journey again.”

When revving up for a new project, Christian finds that BlueWater Day Spa’s Therapeutic Colonic Massage does incredibly well to energize him. This massage is the latest method of improving abdominal muscle tone, improves metabolism and it helps Christian achieve a leaner physique.

“It makes you relax, and it helps tone the body. I combine this with exercise and eating right, and after a few sessions, you’ll see impressive results,” he shares. “The Colonic Massage also helps get rid of the blockages and impurities in your system, so you instantly feel lighter and freer.”

The Colonic Massage reportedly alleviates digestive problems such as constipation, bloating and gas. According to BWDS, it also helps soothe abdominal pains and cramps, as well as fatigue. “I really recommend this, especially if you want to do a quick detox. For those who are looking to lose those last stubborn pounds, this massage also helps the body respond better to weight loss through improved metabolism,” adds Christian.

The massage itself on the abdominal area lasts for approximately 20 minutes. A deep therapeutic massage is used, BWDS says.

Chamomile oil is used for this one-hour full-body massage with concentration on the abdominal area and associated with stretching. For good results, BWDS recommends having the massage once a week. After the massage, it is advised to take aloe vera or mint tea.

Whether he’s gearing up for a hectic tour and taping schedule, or getting sculpted in time for summer, Christian Bautista has found the secret to looking fit and feeling great — and that’s BlueWater Day Spa’s Therapeutic Colonic Massage.
