Audiophile sets guitar clinic slated May 24

The popularity of guitar music has never waned. It’s the staple of many hits — past and present.

The good news is anyone can learn how to play the well-loved musical instrument. Audiophile, exclusive distributor of Ibañez Guitars in the Philippines, is conducting a guitar clinic on May 24, 5 p.m. at Cowboy Grill, located at Quezon Ave. cor. Timog Ave., Quezon City. The audience also gets a chance to win raffle prizes from event partner Luxent Hotel.

Tim Henson and Scott LePage, lead guitarist and rhythm guitarist, respectively of acclaimed instrumental band Polyphia, will teach the basics of playing the said instrument themselves.

The American band is known for its distinct sound, as seen in its studio albums Muse and Renaissance. The band’s Impassion, from the EP Inspire, is a

YouTube hit. Polyphia has also gone on national tours.
