4 top US universities now accepting students for Sept. 2017 term
For those who value good education as a means to attain a successful career that could lead to a bright future, picking the right school is of great importance.
With its many reputable colleges and universities spread across the country that offers various courses on different fields and disciplines, the United States is a top destination for international students, including those from the Philippines who are looking for quality and world-class education.
Four of these leading American institutions of higher studies which are still accepting applications for enrolment for the September 2017 term are James Madison University, University of Vermont, Long Island University and City College of New York.
Filipino students who wish to enter any of these schools can submit their applications through International Education Specialists (Inter-Ed), the Philippines’ pioneer in study abroad services, which will handle admissions, placements, processing and facilitation of visa applications and arrival details for the US with no service fees.
Of the four institutions, James Madison University (JMU), which is located in Virginia, and University of Vermont (UV), whose campus is in Burlington, Vermont, are both widely recognized for producing graduates with a rate of 90 percent landing jobs within a year after graduation.
Filipino students who are enrolled at JMU and UV are also given the opportunity to find part-time work on-campus to enable them to fully experience living and working in the state and in the country.
For those who prefer to study in New York, they can enter Long Island University (LIU) or City College of New York (CCNY), which offer a wide array of programs ranging from bachelor’s degrees to Ph.D.s.
CCNY itself has a reputation for having produced the highest number of Nobel laureates among all academic institutions.
