Rhian holds first-ever concert at Teatrino

To celebrate her 11th year in show business, Rhian is having a mini-concert titled Rhian of Steel on July 29, 6 p.m. at the Teatrino in Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan.

The concert title represents the metal that connotes her year in the biz. She says, “Doing a concert has been a long time fan request that I finally gave into after a decade of being intimidate­d by the mere thought of it.”

The mini-concert will feature songs of love and strength chosen by Rhian herself. Her collaborat­ors on stage will be the Skylight band and the Addlib dancers. The show is being produced by a group of fans known as the Cyberhians.

By way of thanking her audience for the evening, goody bags with souvenirs from MySlim and Mogu-Mogu will be distribute­d. They will also be raffling off a three-day, two-night stay at the Rieseling Resort in Boracay and five Sun Life Personal Accident Insurance policies worth P50,000 each.

The event is coming on the heels of her successful recording billed Hear Me composed by DJ Luanne and Mecha, with lyrics by Brian Lhoto and is distribute­d by Jay R’s Homeworkz label. Rhian continues to burn the racing tracks every month as she has found fulfillmen­t winning several awards in this sport. She co-hosts Full Throttle with Sam YG on Fox Sports and Taste Buddies with Solenn Heusaff on GMA. Readers of FHM have positioned her on its Top 3 Sexiest List in 2017.

To this day, her Saving Sally movie portrayal continues to reap recognitio­n. She is very elated to be nominated alongside Nora Aunor, Vilma Santos, Jaclyn Jose and Charo Santos because of the movie.
