Five aspiring young Pinoy booters get the chance to experience training the Bayern Munich way in the ninth edition of the Allianz Junior Football Camp.

FC Malaya’s JM Mitra, Tuloy sa Don Bosco’s Michael Antillo and Archie Dela Cruz, Iloilo’s Konrad Keim Sollurin, and Cordillera Goshen Land’s Aeron Christian Tenollar are set to participate in the AJFC camp in Bali, Indonesia under trainers from the reigning Bundesliga champions.

The Pinoys look forward to four days of sessions on fitness workshops, footwork techniques and tactical skills and relish the opportunity to train with Bayern’s youth coach Maximilian Knauer and retired striker Giovane Elber.

Two of the five players from Phl eventually proceed to the AJFC’s final camp in Munich.

Coach Jess Landagan accompanies the Phl footballers, who were chosen during the National Youth Futsal Cup (NYFC) organized by Allianz PNB Life in cooperation with the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) and the Henry V. Moran Foundation.

The AJFC program was started in 2009 by German insurance company Allianz in partnership with the Die Roten in line with its dedication to youth development.

Allianz PNB Life branding communications and digital director Rei Abrazaldo said they chose football because it teaches kids values. “When you are in the field, you have to make sure that you work as a team and you develop self-discipline,” he said.
