Honda freshens up the Jazz

The Jazz’s trademark highly functional ULTR (Utility, Long, Tall, Refresh) seats allow four different adjustment modes for more flexible storage. A new 7-inch touchscreen Bluetooth/ USB audio system now comes standard in the 1.5 V CVT, 1.5 VX Navi CVT and 1.5 RS Navi CVT.

Additional features such as a nav system,

Touch-panel automatic A/C, smart entry with push-button start, paddle shifters, cruise control and speed-sensing auto door lock come in the 1.5 VX Navi CVT and 1.5 RS Navi CVT while steering wheel audio controls are standard for all CVT variants.

The Jazz stll comes with a 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC engine that produces 120ps and 14.8 kg-m of torque. It’s mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission (1.5 V MT) or Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) based on Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology. All CVT variants also feature Honda’s Eco Assist System which consists of the ECON button and eco-coaching ambient meter.

The new RS Navi variant comes with an exclusive sporty exterior design, which features new LED headlights with DRL’s, RS-design tailgate spoiler, RS-design front bumper with foglights, RS-design rear bumper, new grille with RS emblem, side sill garnish, 16-inch gloss black alloy wheels and gloss black side mirrors.

The interior of the Jazz 1.5 RS Navi features a new seat fabric design, 3-spoke leather steering wheel and shift knob - all of which have orange stitching for a sportier feel. To complement the overall sporty package of the RS Navi, a new Phoenix Orange Pearl color will be exclusively available for this variant.

All variants have ABS, Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and dual front airbags. The 1.5 VX Navi CVT and 1.5 RS Navi CVT variants also come with Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) and Hill Start Assist (HSA) while the 1.5 RS Navi CVT get additional side airbags and side curtain airbags.

The new Jazz’s prices start at P799,000 (V MT), P849,000 (V CVT), P949,000 (VX Navi CVT), and P1,029,000 (RS Navi CVT).

The new Jazz comes in Phoenix Orange Pearl (new color for 1.5 RS Navi only), Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic (new color forRS Navi and VX Navi CVT only), Attract Yellow Pearl (RS Navi and VX Navi CVT only), Modern Steel Metallic (RS Navi and VX Navi CVT only), Rallye Red, Taffeta White, and Lunar Silver Metallic.
