FOTON opens new dealership in CAMSUR
Located along the stretch of Maharlika Highway, San Jose, Pili in Camarines Sur, FOTON CamSur officially opened its doors last July 17, 2017. United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), the exclusive distributor of FOTON vehicles in the country, awarded its dealership to Automarken Group – the same automotive group handling FOTON Gratour Legazpi, Albay.
“Our team is beyond grateful for UAAGI’s trust in our capabilities to bring FOTON vehicles closer to the families and businesses of the Bicolanos.” said FOTON CamSur Dealer Principal Jeremie Lo.
Apart from UAAGI, the establishment of FOTON CamSur is also fully supported by its local government. In fact, political icons like Senator Cynthia Villar, Camarines Sur Congressman Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte and Camarines Sur Governor Miguel Luis “Migs” Villafuerte attended FOTON CamSur’s celebration. “The patronage and warm welcome of our leaders and government units to FOTON serves as a great booster to our brand. We’re glad because we share the same objective: to uplift our province’s economy for both rural and urban settings.” he added.
Occupying the central section of the Bicol peninsula, Camarines Sur is considered to be the largest province in the region. “Here in Bicol, the demand for commercial vehicles incessantly increases in as our community continues to develop the industries that we are known for.” noted Lo.
Agricultural products such as rice, corn, feed meal, seafood, livestock, coconut, sugar sustain the province’s rural industry. Abaca and waterlily-made handicrafts are also major source of rural income, providing a fairly large share in the small-scale businesses while merchandising, logistics and construction and modern infrastructures mark up their urban industry.
FOTON CamSur General Manager Felix Gumabao says, “The potential of FOTON vehicles will surely contribute high-rate efficiency in both time and cost in terms of transportation solutions. With the brand’s variety of passenger vehicles; from vans, pick-up trucks and SUV, the Gratour series, the light duty trucks, heavy duty trucks and heavy machinery, without a doubt, our clients will find a FOTON product that will make a perfect match for their business.”
Covering more than 2, 500 square meters which includes the vehicle showroom and service area for passenger vehicles, light duty trucks and heavy duty trucks, FOTON CamSur is considered to be one of the FOTON dealerships with the largest lot size. The vehicle showroom can accommodate a seven-unit display and is also accentuated with a contemporary customerfocused lounge.
FOTON CamSur’s service center has a total of six service bays for passenger vehicles and eight more for its trucks which are designed to provide various servicing requirements such as periodic maintenance, electrical, mechanical, airconditioning services, body repairs and paint jobs. “These amenities are constructed to answer and support the needs and demands of our increasing customer base. We want our clients to have a satisfying experience not just in ownership but also in aftersales.” noted Lo.
UAAGI President Rommel Sytin believes that this facility will serve as a major undertaking for the whole Bicol region as it is a substantial testament of the provinces’ growth and business progress. “Along with our goal to provide reliable and affordable business solutions through our products and services, we also assure to give our full support to our dealer in terms of sales trainings and marketing for them to achieve maximum sales growth.” he added.
