Airbrush makeup course is back

Due to insistent popular demand from the film and television industries, wedding and other milestone events, an intensive master certificat­e course on Airbrush Make-up Techniques for Screen and Media will be held at the School for Profession­al and Continuing Education (SPaCE) of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB).

The workshop, being offered in partnershi­p with Sprint Asia Beauty, is scheduled for six Saturdays, beginning Aug. 19 to Sept. 23, from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Leading practition­ers in their respective fields of expertise will be lecturers.

Diana Kwong took up Beauty Make-up Artistry and Basic Airbrush courses at the Make-up Designory in Los Angeles. She also completed Fashion Airbrushin­g at the Westmore Academy and Temptu Art of Contouring Airbrush Workshop, both in California. She has been working as a make-up artist for weddings, events and photo shoots since 2008.

Dina Padilla has more than a decade of profession­al experience in the Philippine­s and Australia. She holds double internatio­nal qualificat­ions in Make-up for Screen and Media from the Academy of Make-up, and Training and Assessment from the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE. She has taught Convention­al and Airbrush Make-up Techniques at the Manila campus of the Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty, Suesh Cosmetics, Style Studio Fashion and Design School, and, most recently, at SPaCE.

Patricia Ting trained under Make-up Designory and has honed her skills in a variety of fields: From studio and film make-up, to bridal, avant-garde and haute couture. She has worked with events such as Metrowalk Denim Fashion Show and Mr. and Ms. China Town.

Registrati­on fee is P38,000 and comes with a free Temptu Pro airbrush kit. An earlybird discount will be given to those who will register two weeks before the start of the first module.
