4 dead in road mishaps

LEGAZPI CITY – A retired police officer was among four persons who died in separate vehicular accidents in Albay and Masbate on Saturday.

Pedro Clet and his two companions, whose names were not immediately available, were on a motorcycle when they were hit by a sport utility vehicle in Barangay Cabunturan, Malinao town.

The victims died at the scene, according to Senior Inspector Malou Calubaquib, spokesperson for the Bicol police.

Meanwhile, school supervisor Annil Lequeron, 37, was on his way home on a motorcycle when he figured in an accident in Cawayan, Masbate.

The victim was declared dead on arrival in a nearby hospital.
