Farley Del Rosario explores whimsical worlds at Galerie Stephanie

Farley Del Rosario explores the space between seeing and believing — fantasy and reality — in “Welcome to the Playpen,” which is on view until Aug. 8 at Galerie Stephanie, Unit 1B Parc Plaza Bldg., 183 E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave., C5, Libis, QC.

Inspired by taking a walk in shopping malls, Farley uses familiar icons like baby toys, David Bowie, teddy bears and Darth Vader — inviting everyone out to play.

The combination of new colors, designs and energy inspires playful concepts that he paints directly onto canvas and sculpture without the use of studies. Ther result is a dynamic and sponteaneous style dinstinctly his own.
