German envoy to speak in forum vs ocean litter
Improving the productivity of fisheries and aquaculture is vital to reducing hunger and poverty for millions in the developing world.
International Coastal Clean Up is the world’s largest volunteer effort to ocean and waterways. Ocean trash is a serious pollution problem that affects the health of the people, wildlife and local economies.

The speaker will be Ambassador Thomas Ossowski, president of the German Embassy Foundation.
The objective of the forum is to promote awareness on protecting the natural beaches, the loss of habitat for globally important species offshore and in shore.
The forum on Sept. 26 will discuss, examine and bring to light the critical topic The Fight Against Ocean Litter.”
