Mulawin vs. Ravena enters finale week
The lessons about love, family and war on GMA 7’s Mulawin vs. Ravena have captivated
Kapuso viewers every night. As the fantaserye approaches its finale week, cast members shared mixed reactions on the soap’s near end during the media’s set visit in a Makati City studio recently.
Bea Binene and Bianca Umali, who played Anya and Lawiswis, respectively, said they will definitely miss their bonding moments while taping scenes for Mulawin vs. Ravena.
“I will miss the fun, our food trip and great moments with the cast and crew. That’s why after our finale, Bianca and I are planning to go to Hong Kong for a short vacation,” shared Bea.
Lead star Dennis Trillo expressed his gratitude and fondness for the show’s successful run. “I’m grateful to our loyal Kapuso fans, I love both the first and current Mulawin and hopefully masamahan nyo ang aking character na si Gabriel hanggang sa huli,” said the actor, who was part of the original version in 2004.
For Chynna Ortaleza, who plays the role of Rashana, saying goodbye to the show is a bittersweet experience. “If we can only keep on doing the show, but of course, it has to come to an end. I am just happy to have spent it with such a great cast and team. I will miss our food bonding, lahat na ata ng restaurant
sa area ng studio eh nakainan na namin,” said Chynna.
Derrick Monasterio who is known in the series as Almiro shared his sentiments, “The whole show was memorable kasi ang
daming pinagdaanan ng character ko, naging tao, bato, Mulawin at hari ako dito.”
Miguel Tanfelix, on the other hand, shared, “It feels good to reprise the role I played when I was five years old. I hope someday gagampanan ko ulit si Pagasgas, malay natin di ba?” Also seen during the set visit were Lovi Poe, Ariel Rivera, Roi Vinzon, Charee Pineda, Kiko Estrada, Dion Ignacio, Valerie Concepcion, David Licauco, Seth Dela Cruz and Caprice Cayetano.
Mulawin vs. Ravena still has a lot of explosive surprises that viewers should not miss. Many questions are yet to be answered and each episode will show the ultimate war between the Mulawins and the Ravenas.
