DANILO PANGAN: ART AND TECHNOLOGY
Danny Pangan, an artist known for his three-dimensional paintings, has a substantial body of work both in painting and sculpture.
Pangan’s unique style, which merges art and technology, was influenced by his academic background. He took Advertising at the University of the East School of Music and Art in 1978, and comprehensive desktop publishing at the Ateneo de Manila Computer Technology Center in 1973.
With these skills and talents, he has been an art director, visual artist, graphic designer and art educator.
As a visual artist, he was named as the “exponent of tridimensional painting,” depicting history and nostalgia in this innovative art form. Among his patrons are Philippine presidents, politicians and members of the elite.
