TNT singers are now OPM members

-

Original Pilipino Music (OPM) gets a major boost as the Organisayon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit welcomes into its fold 12 of the most talented Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) singers.

They are TNT grand champion Noven Belleza (photo), Eumee Capili, Sam Mangubat, Marielle Montellano, Froilan Canlas, TNT Divas Gidget dela Llana, Rachel Gabreza, Pauline Agupitan and Maricel Callo and Jex de Castro, Lucky Robles and Hazelyn Cascaño.

The TNT singers were formally inducted as members recently (a first time in the history of OPM) by its president, singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.

Through their tunes and live performances in different parts of the country, the TNT singers will continue to inspire every ordinary Filipino to reach their dreams, as well as bolster support for original Pilipino music and continue its legacy.

They will also add new flavor to the Pinoy music scene through their voices and songs that will exhibit their individual uniqueness as artists.

One of the platforms they use to promote OPM is TNT Versions or TNTV, where fans and online viewers can enjoy the singers’ refreshing take on the most popular and iconic love songs.

Since June, the YouTube channel has already garnered thousands of subscribers and views. Some of the most viewed renditions are Eumee’s Kahit Sandali with 308,000 views, Jex’s Someone’s Always Saying Goodbye that hit 295,000 views and Samuel’s Sukob Na with 251,000 views.

TNT Versions is just one of the fast-growing YouTube channels in the country under ABS-CBN’s multichannel network Adober Studios, formerly called Chicken Pork Adobo.

TNT is the first singing talent show in the country that yielded some of the biggest OPM icons such as Nora Aunor, Pepe Pimentel and Edgar Mortiz.
