-

Few animated characters inspire the love and loyalty of the colorful characters from My Little Pony. For kids and adults alike, there’s a timeless magic to the friendship of Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy.

Voiced by some of Hollywood’s finest stars in the industry, My Little

Pony: The Movie is sure to make the kids and the kids-at-heart fall in love with the beautifully colored equines from Equestria.

The movie begins when dark forces threaten Ponyville and the existence of the Kingdom, and it’s up to the Mane 6 — Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity to save everyone around them.

Forcing them to embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship to save their home.

What makes the film more worth the watch is its all-star cast led by British actress Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba and Zoe Saldana.

Screenwriter Michael Vogel loved that stars this big went on board with them in producing the magical film of ponies.

“One of the great things about working on My Little Pony through the years is we’ve had so many amazing actresses and so many amazing people be a part of the show,” says Vogel. “Those women and men have totally personified these characters and brought them to life.”

Saldana, Blunt, Diggs and Sia also sang songs for the soundtrack of the movie.

Since its first debut in the ‘80s, families and their children have grown to love the beauty of the

My Little Pony franchise which spawned from Hasbro’s incredibly popular toy line, connecting imagination with beauty and colorful courage with the equines in the magical kingdom.

Blunt who voices the villain Tempest Shadow finds the film as a way for adults to interact with their children and connect with them through the love of ponies.

“So many people have connected with the ponies over the years,” says Blunt. “Adults who watched when they were younger and kids who play with them today, I think everyone will be excited to see the ponies in a new light.”

My Little Pony: The Movie is the perfect film for the parents weekly bonding day with their kids, letting them reminisce with their childhood and at the same time usher in a new generation of pony lovers in the world.

My Little Pony: The Movie hits theaters near you starting tomorrow, Oct. 4, and is distributed by Pioneer Films.
