singapore baby brand Hegen arrives in the philippines
Local celebrity mommies, personalities, and bloggers were excited to welcome Hegen to the Philippines. Hosted by mom of three Mikaela Lagdameo Martinez, the intimate launch was held at Shangri-La the Fort with Yvonne Bock, founder of Hegen, and Singapore Ambassador to the Philippines Kok Li Peng gracing the event.
Guests marveled at Hegen’s innovative soft-square shape and its natural amber hue, as Yvonne Bock explained Hegen’s features. A working mother of four, Yvonne knew the breastfeeding struggles that mothers face every day. Hegen was born out of those struggles to find the solutions she needed.
Yvonne sought to create a bottle that a breastfeeding mother will use completely. Each Hegen bottle is designed to express, store, and feed in record time. To express, simply attach one of Hegen’s breast pump adapters, attach the bottle to your current breast pump and your breast, and express away. Once finished, store with ease by capping it off with a storage lid. If you’re able to express more than one bottle, the square shape bottles are easily stackable and connectable, creating a storage system that doesn’t waste space.
And when baby is ready to feed, simply attach press the teat down and hand the bottle to the baby. Hegen’s invention of PCTO — press-to-open, twist-to-close — means that you can close and open the bottle with one hand, minimizing the chances of bottle leakage. Its super soft teat is made off-center to mimic the elliptical shape of a mother’s lactating breast, and has an anti-colic air vent, making your baby drink milk that won’t come into contact with air, preserving all of your breastmilk’s nutrients.
TV celebrity Iya Villania-Arellano hoped to be able to use it in order to see how her son Primo will warm up to Hegen. Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez and Pia Guanio-Mago found time to breastfeed their babies during the launch, proving that the event was indeed a safe space for mothers to breastfeed with no judgment, and with utmost ease. Which is exactly what Hegen’s goal is: to help foster a breastfeeding journey that is enjoyable and sustainable for both mother and child, in order to prolong the journey for as long as mother and child are able to do so.
