BENITEZ IN CHEONAN:

Bayanihan executive director Suzie Moya Benitez (4th from left) is shown with members of the Federation of International Dance Festivals executive committee in Cheonan City, Korea. Benitez served as juror for the biggest festival competition in Korea and attended the FIDAF-Federation for International Dance festivals’ congress. She is the Federation’s chair for Asia. At the culture center for the international modern dance competition she met with Federation general secretary Emil Dimitrov, Som Said, vice chair, and Vince Reyes, chair for Oceania. Benitez who is at the helm of Bayanihan, the Philippine National Folk Dance Company, also served as juror in the World Dance Festival Competition in Istanbul, Turkey.
