Blade, the country’s largest automotive accessories lifestyle store is set to raise the bar and set new standards in the retail industry by way of a movie. Based on a real life love story, Blade’s Timog Love Story revolves around a woman named Nelia, played by Michelle Vito, who works as a saleswoman at Blade. The lead character then falls in love with Delfin, a mechanic, whose character is played by Jon Lucas. The movie promises mixed emotions.

“Tuwa, Luha and Saya. This movie could also mean a true love story depending on how the audience would interpret once they’ve already seen the film,” explains Albert Go, marketing manager of Blade Autocenter. Blade aims to reach a broader spectrum of the market with this feelgood movie and promises an enjoyable experience. “This would be the same experience we’ve managed to provide our clients once they shop at Blade. The movie also has veteran actors and actresses led by Boots Anson-Roa, Freddie Webb and Rey “PJ” Abellana with the special participation of James Deakin in a cameo role. The movie is directed by Roderick Lindayag.

With over 50 stores nationwide strategically located in SM, Robinsons and Ayala Malls, Blade is recognized as the country’s largest automotive accessories and parts retail chain.

All of their stores carry globally recognized brands such as Sparco, OMP, Goodyear, Polaroid and Chupa Chups. They also offer a complete line of car care products such as Blade signature products, Sonax, Mother’s, Meguiar’s and Wurth among others. “As an automotive lifestyle store, this movie is our way of giving back our blessings to local consumers and loyal customers,” adds Go.
