Kabayan Hotel expansion set

-

In its mission to serve overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and provincial-based travelers, Kabayan Hotel will be adding more rooms, facilities and services with a new multi-story building to rise within the next two years.

Kabayan, one of the hotel brands under Legend Hotels International Corp. (LHIC), recently broke ground for the additional structure right beside its current location on EDSA in Pasay City.

Kabayan Hotel is a triumphant journey of transformation, as it offers more than just affordable accommodations for its guests, but keeps the Filipino at heart, with its value-added services that answer their needs.

“OFWs have found a home at Kabayan Hotel, where they can stay while processing their papers for their trips overseas and have access to a help desk to assist them with their requirements and a counseling center for them and their families,” said LHIC chief operating officer Eduardo Fuentebella Jr. “We go beyond being ‘accommodations’. We want to be part of the OFW’s journey. We know of their challenges such as loneliness when they are abroad. That is why here, they are kings and queens when they are with us.”

“All our products and services are centered on our customers and guests, created with them in mind, in terms of offering convenience, comfort and safety,” shared Celine Marie King, Kabayan’s general manager.

The existing Kabayan Hotel has 276 rooms suited for solo travelers and large groups, ranging from the capsule rooms perfect for budget travelers and even backpackers, to flats and team rooms meant for family trips. Kabayan also has ample standards rooms equipped to accommodate groups traveling for business or attending conferences.

The new hotel, targeted to be finished in 24 months, will have 307 rooms in different categories. “These rooms are expandable, combining with adjacent rooms to offer larger spaces,” King said.

The new building will also have function rooms and a larger restaurant. Their dining outlet offers quick and satisfying meals for those on the go, opening as early as 4 a.m. for breakfast for guests looking for an early start to their day.

Kabayan Hotel manager Raymund Aves explained that their quick service lunch menu and the affordable merienda buffet that is available from 2 to 5 p.m. daily are likewise popular with guests and the nearby business community for their variety and quality.

The hotel was built on faith and a mission towards transformation. This mission statement was highlighted during the speech given by Wyden King, chairman of Abraham Holdings, the holding company of LHIC. “Today as we are breaking ground, we are marking a milestone for Kabayan Hotel. We lay a foundation within our hearts and in our lives so that our guests will be comforted not only by the beautiful rooms and comfortable beds, but be embraced by the love from our Father in Heaven.”

Celine King added, “At Kabayan Hotel, we are here not just to host them but to help them and be a part of their lives. As with all the other properties under the LHIC, we are not really about profit, it is really reaching out to the guest.” Visit www.kabayanhotel.com. ph or call 702-2700 to 04
