Peralta said Ganti and Cabannag are on the target list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

In Iloilo, Ma. Jinky Sanchez, 19, a resident of Victorias, Negros Occidental, was arrested after selling a sachet of shabu worth P5,000 to an undercover agent in Barangay 19, Victorias shortly after midnight on Monday.

Sanchez reportedly yielded more than 40 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P450,000, which she hid in a canister filled with fruits.

The suspect, who reportedly brought the shabu from Metro Manila, arrived on a roll-on roll-off vessel that passed Malay, Aklan where she also allegedly sold shabu.

“She is a drug courier. She traveled to Manila thrice lately based on our monitoring,” Senior Inspector Kenneth Bermejo, Philippine National Police-Western Visayas Drug Enforcement Unit head, said.

Bermejo said they also received reports that Sanchez was on her way to Bacolod to drop off eight sachets of shabu.
