Ynares, Abliter pace World Slasher Cup

Former Gov. Ito Ynares and Rico Abliter posted 7-2 (win-loss) cards last Sunday to lead the field heading to the last two days of the World Slasher Cup Invitational nine-cock derby at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Meanwhile, action resumes today with the four-cock finals for qualifiers with 2, 2.5, 3 and 3.5 points while those with 4, 4.5 and five points will hold theirs tomorrow.

Meanwhile, nine participants have notched five victories apiece with one of them likely to complete a perfect card (9 points) tomorrow.

They include Arnold Mendoza, Hector Magpantay, Astig endorser Biboy Enriquez of Excellence, Rep. Patrick Antonio (two entries), Jimmy Junsay, Cholo Violago, Jojo Alcovendaz and Jess Moradas.
