Umbal, Ridhwan clash for IBO-WBC crown

Filipino Jeson Umbal takes a shot at unbeaten Muhamad Ridhwan of Singapore in one of the three main events in the Roar of Singapore IV – Night of Champions’ on April 20 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Umbal, 23, and Ridhwan, unbeaten in nine fights, will dispute the vacant Intercontinental featherweight title in the IBO/WBC event put up by Ringstar Boxing.

Michael Dasmariñas, on the other hand, faces French Karim Guerfi for the IBO world championship belt while Malaysia’s Mirage Kahn slugs it out with New Zealander Chase Haley will clash for the vacant WBC Asia Continental light heavyweight crown.
