Ring in the luck at Lucky Chinatown
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls celebrates Chinese New Year at Lucky Chinatown Mall with two weeks of attractions, promos and events, highlighted by the Chinese New Year Countdown on the eve of the Lunar New Year.
The performances will kick off on Feb. 15, headlined by Bamboo and Orange and Lemons, with Reese Lansangan, Autotelic, Kaye Cal, and celebrity magician, the “Quick Mask Artist” Tito Cris Castro, cultural performances with a LED lion dance and a grand fireworks display.
This will be followed by performances at the Atrium by Silent Sanctuary and Soapdish. On Feb. 16, 2 p.m. there will be a feng shui seminar with Johnson Chua and Chinese performances. On Feb. 17 at 4 p.m., celebrity sweethearts Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona will perform, along with singer songwriter Caleb Santos and boyband The Juans.
On Feb. 18, 2 p.m., Lucky Chinatown celebrates the Year of the Dog with a “Barking in Style, a Dog Fashion Show” at the Atrium, with performances by Sponge Cola and a feng shui talk with Master Hans Cua.
Take part in the 8 Lucky Rituals or traditional Chinese practices, which are ongoing until Feb. 18. Drop by the Prosperity Fair at the Atrium until Feb. 14 for Chinese New Year gifts and souvenirs.
There is a Chinese New Year Food Fair lat Meisic Street from Feb. 12 to 18 and enjoy the 8 Lucky Foods, available at participating restaurants.
Lucky Chinatown also holds a Lucky Sale where shoppers can enjoy up to 70 percent off on selected items from all Lucky Chinatown stores from Feb. 14 to 18. From Feb 12 to18, guests can take part in the Lucky Ang Pao promo. Those who spend P2,000 at any Lucky Chinatown establishment will get a chance to win instant prizes when they present a single receipt at the atrium.
Double your chances of winning with the Interactive Wishing Lantern, a tech-savvy activity available on Lucky Chinatown way-finders where lucky participants can win instant prizes by creating digital lanterns and sharing their 2018 wishes.
The digital lanterns will be released on Lucky Chinatown’s screens and LED billboards during the countdown celebration.
